Iria Arenas

Iria Arenas is a multidisciplinary artist working with movement, performance and visual arts. Arenas’ career in Hip Hop and House Dance began in 2008 in Madrid where they participated in group championships in Spain for several years. In 2014 Arenas’ training continued in London where they worked as a dancer in Hip Hop Dance Theatre companies such as ‘Alias LDN’ or ‘Body Politic UK’ for three years. In 2017 they moved to Germany and enriched their artistic career working in the Performance and Contemporary Dance field. Recently relocated to Finland, Arenas is eager to share and learn from and with the Helsinki Hip Hop scene.

Their classes offer Hip Hop and House Dance foundations and drills as well as a safe creative space for the students to embrace their personal movement vocabulary to explore and have fun with.
