PETRA KINNUNEN

Petra Kinnunen is a Helsinki-based street dancer and visual artist who graduated from the 5-Styles Dance Program at Åsa Folkhögskola in 2015. Her main areas of focus during her studies were hip hop, breaking, popping, locking, and house. In recent years, Petra has specialized in popping, breaking, and hustle.

Petra draws inspiration by actively traveling, participating in workshops, battles, and jams both in Finland and abroad. This allows her to continuously develop her skills and bring the knowledge she gains into her teaching.

With extensive experience in both dance and teaching students of various ages, Petra places great emphasis on creating a safe and encouraging atmosphere in her classes. She strives to ensure that everyone feels free to be themselves and discover their own way of expressing themselves through dance.
